The Sunflower Lace Stud Brooch was originally made from an actual piece of lace that was stiffened with starch, then painted with a copper paint. The copper-painted lace was then attached to a copper wire and then dipped in a copper-suspension bath causing it to attach to the copper paint and create a layer of metal with that original lace still inside. This design inspiration was sent to Bali and now, years and years later, we have the Sunflower Lace Stud Brooch.
