Yankee Knitter Etta Cardigan #32
The Etta Cardigan is a vintage inspired baby sweater. This simple top down cardigan knitting pattern is easy and fun to knit. First the yoke is knit to the armholes, then the sleeves are knit and then the body is completed. The sleeves are the only sewing you need to do other than sewing on the buttons and weaving in the ends. This sweater is knit in worsted-weight yarn so it knits up quickly and the yarn over raglan increases are easy to do and easy to count. Etta is a simple and sweet sweater and it would be perfect for your first attempt at knitting a top down sweater.

Finished Measurements: 17 (19-22-24-26-28-30) inches.
Materials: worsted-weight yarn (of your choice)- 250 (325-400-475-550-625-700) yards.
Buttons: size 5/8” 6(6-7-7-8-9-10).
Needles: US size 8, 24” circular needles or size to obtain gauge
