Saona
Saona is named after the river where the company founder’s grandfather and two sons would bring their cart of wool fleeces and spend days washing the wool. Then, after allowing it to dry on the banks of the river, it was ready for carding, spinning, and finally weaving to make blankets in the family mill. A tribute to previous generations, this collection brings a yarn full of nuances both in its texture and tones.
The combination of wool and cotton make this yarn perfect for any season. The colors in this collection, designed in collaboration with Hailey Smedley (@Ozetta), are gorgeous, subtle natural tones including light blue, light green and multiple neutral shades. Hailey’s work is also inspired by family traditions, rooted in her love for her grandmother who taught her to knit. Use Saona, a year-round option, for lightweight tees, pullovers or cardigans. You’ll like the feel against your skin and the understated heathered tones.
