Homestead Sport from Primrose Yarn Co. is a colorful and ever-changing 2-ply yarn that will create stunning knit, crochet and woven projects. Made of 100% American superwash merino, Homestead is mill spun in northwest Pennsylvania. Since each ply of Homestead Sport is dyed prior to spinning, the combination of colors will vary considerably from skein-to-skein and batch-to-batch. Note about Homestead Sport Yarn – While we love the exquisite color combinations available in this unique yarn, there can be significant variations from skein to skein. Please follow these guidelines to ensure success:
- Purchase enough yarn to complete your project, allowing for a bit of overage, just in case!
- Not all differences in skeins are obvious when comparing skeins.
- For projects that require 2 or more skeins, we highly recommend blending your skeins by using 2 balls at once, alternating every couple of rows from each ball. This should blend any variations between skeins.
