With a simple push of the button in the center channel, the clutch mechanism of this Plier / Wrench Combo rapidly adjusts jaws from 0 to 1-5/8″ to fit hardware size. Toothed grooves inside the slip joint allow the jaws to be adjusted to 18 different positions for the most secure fit. Unlike other adjustable-jaw tools on the market, this tool’s adjustable jaw features a spring-like closing action which moves the jaw over 1/4″ toward the fixed jaw in parallel, providing far more gripping strength than angled jaws as you close the handles. Smooth jaws are 5/16″ wide x over 1″ deep; overall tool length is 10-1/4″.
