This Seal Is Used On The Front Of Vw Air-cooled Engine Cases In Conjunction With A Sand Sealed Style Pulley. The Benefit Of This Seal Is That It Fits In The Case Without Any Machining. When Using This Seal You Must Use Empi Spacers 8688-6. These Spacers Reposition The Sand Pulley Away From The Engine Case Preventing Pulley And Seal Interferance.
