When mounting a cutter in a lathe tool post, it is imperative that the cutting edge is aligned exactly at the centerline of the workpiece. This 6-piece Steel Shim Set provides just the right selection of thicknesses to achieve that critical alignment, either individually or combined, to achieve the height required. Set includes: .004″ (.1 mm), .011″ (.3 mm), .019″ (.5 mm), .039″ (1 mm), .059″ (1.5 mm) and .078″ (2 mm). Each shim is 3/8″ wide x 1-3/4″ long.
